Hotel Palau de Bellavista Girona by URH

Spacious, quiet room with comfortable bed and a separate living room. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of continental options and a few hot options. We were there for a cycling holiday, and the hotel had locked garage storage for the bike box and bikes, or you could also bring the bikes to the room. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax after a day's cycling, watching the sunset, with views over Girona and the surrounding mountains. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient throughout our stay.

We only stayed for one night but wish we could have had more! Complementary water and aircon already on in the room were nice touches. Comfy bed, spacious room with fridge, tv etc if you want them. Toiletries also supplied. Terrace has an incredible view and small pool. Managed to get some sun beds in the shade so enjoyed the afternoon out there. Lovely in the evening. (Pool towels can be borrowed from reception). Short down hill walk into the old town, maybe 10 minutes. Only downside is having to come back up again on the way back! 15 minute walk to the train/bus station. Really enjoyed our short stay and would stay here again if we came back to Girona :)

The view is the best part. It has a great view of the town and distant mountains/hills. We were told by the taxi driver we would need a taxi to get back into the town but actually it wasn't that far and its an interesting walk, however, it does feel a little cut off. The outside seating area is great with small pool. The inside feels modern and light, bright. The breakfast was very good and the dining area comfortable and again light and pleasant. All felt very contemporary and well considered. Lovely foyer.

This is the second time with stay in Palau de Bellavista. And would always return if in Girona. The personnel (reception, restaurant, bar, room) is very pleasant, courteous and attentive to the guests' wishes. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient. The hotel is located above the city (but walking distance - even if a bit hilly) allowing splendid views from the huge deck. Plenty of free parking space (internal and external). The breakfast served is varied and complete.

Appreciated the spacious rooms, with two chairs, soundproofing and aircon. The common areas also had plenty of comfortable seating, including the sun terrace with loungers, and you didn't have to buy a drink to sit there! We liked the plentiful parking, and being able to keep our bikes secure inside the garage or in our room. The location was the star though - great views and peaceful, yet only a 10 minute walk down the hill into the old town.
